Here it is! The Studio Collection of all 5 SEASONS of Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo.
Never before released on DVD.
Season 1 - (aka) Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979 TV series) -
The 1979–1980 season, Scooby-Doo was given a major overhaul, adding the character of Scooby's nephew Scrappy-Doo, voiced by Lennie Weinrib, and changing the name of the show to Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo. Although still present in these episodes, the characters of Fred, Daphne, and Velma became less essential to the plot, and Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy were the main focus. Marla Frumkin took over Pat Stevens' role as Velma Dinkley towards the end of the season, beginning with episode 12, "The Ghoul, the Bat, and the Ugly". Velma does not speak in episode 16, "The Ransom of Scooby Chief" as she, Fred, and Daphne weren't seen much in that episode. Like many animated series created by Hanna-Barbera in the 1970s, the show contained a laugh track created by the studio.
Season 2 and Season 3 - (aka) Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! (1980-1982) -
The two season episodes of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo shorts represents the sixth show in which Scooby-Doo appears.
Season 4 - (aka) The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour (1982-1983) -
The show contained segments of Scooby-Doo & Scrappy-Doo (Hanna-Barbera), Scrappy & Yabba-Doo (Hanna-Barbera) and The Puppy's New Adventures (Ruby-Spears).
The first half-hour consisted of a 7-minute Scrappy & Yabba-Doo episode placed between two 7-minute Scooby-Doo & Scrappy-Doo episodes followed by a 30-minute episode of The Puppy's New Adventures in the second half-hour. The Scooby/Scrappy-related shorts were written, storyboarded and voiced at Hanna-Barbera, but animated and edited by Ruby-Spears.
Season 5 - (aka) The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show part 1 (1983-1984) and (aka) The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries part 2 (1984-1985) -
The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show is the sixth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo. It premiered on September 10, 1983, and ran for one season on ABC as a half-hour program made up of two eleven-minute short cartoons. In 1984, the name of the show was changed to The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, with the actual show format remaining the same. The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries ran for another season on ABC.
Thirteen half-hour episodes, composed of twenty-four separate segments were produced under the New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo title in 1983, and thirteen more episodes, composed of twenty separate segments were produced under the name The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries in 1984.
